HelloReport for iOS 7.0: a fresh new look

Version 7.0 of the HelloReport iOS app is out now. It brings a refreshed look to everyday property reporting, with clearer layouts, more consistent controls and easier-to-read information across the app, so the time you spend on site goes on the property and not on finding your way around.

If you have automatic updates turned on, your iPhone or iPad will install it for you. If not, open the App Store, search for HelloReport and tap Update.

Using HelloReport on Android? The same redesign is on its way to the Android app, and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

What's new in 7.0

  • A refreshed interface. Cleaner cards, consistent spacing and more prominent actions across the reporting screens.
  • Organised report selection. Report types are grouped into Property reports and Safety & compliance, so the right one is quicker to find.
  • Clearer property information. Client details and inspection history sit in their own sections, with report-status badges you can read at a glance.
  • Updated report editing. Condition ratings, descriptions, photographs and defects are more clearly separated when you edit an item.

Celebrating Serhii's first year at HelloReport

7.0 also coincides with a milestone for the team: our app developer, Serhii Tsziu, has been with HelloReport for a year.

Serhii joined us in October 2025 and has worked across both our iOS and Android apps ever since. In his first year he brought our compliance reports to mobile, including Legionella risk assessments, fire door inspections and PAT testing, and built the flexible question engine that powers them. He also added a barcode scanner for logging appliances and made report and photo uploads more dependable.

Behind the scenes, he has modernised a great deal of the app's foundations, and 7.0 is the result: a redesign of almost every screen, with a new home screen and a dedicated properties tab.

With HelloReport 7.0, I've focused on making everyday reporting clearer and more comfortable to use. The refreshed layouts help users find the information they need and see what they've recorded at a glance.
